Steamforged Games has announced two new core boxes for their hugely successful Elden Ring: The Board Game. The original campaign earned close to four and a half million dollars on Kickstarter back in 2022.
According to Steamforged, you can expect more deadly plots, iconic foes, and new regions in the ever-decaying Lands Between to explore. There will be new characters to interact with, new quests to complete, and of course, lots of lore.
In the Lakes of Liurnia, sorceries lay dormant, secrets dwell deep, and the Machinations of the Witch ensnare even the most cunning…Meanwhile in Caelid, the Dominion of Rot, grim festivities await — can you survive the affliction gripping Caelid, and face the Starscourge?
The expansions are based on the same system as the original game, and are designed for 1-4 players. For the most part, ELden Ring: The Board Game has been reviewed pretty well, and people seem to enjoy how it converts the massively popular video game into a tabletop experience.
We will have more details on price and release date as soon as SFG makes them available, but this will once again be ground funding, but this time through Gamefound.
