Mindwork Games reveal new pricing and tier contents for Paradise gamefound campaign

Paradise first caught my eye just a couple of weeks ago, as I discovered the Mindwork Games, producers of incredibly lush sculpts and busts, planned on moving into the board game/wargame space. Up first, a hybrid of both those, designed to act as a bridge for board game players to get into the wargame space, Paradise.

Now that the campaign is live, the developers are listening to customer feedback and have decided to release a lower-tier option for those who want it. The new Paradise Core Set pledge of €59 gives people a cheaper buy-in option, but more than that, all pledge levels now include all four factions: the Raiders, Slug Lords, White Lizard Cult, and Church of Ignition. Honestly, it’s a hell of an offer at this point.

In an update detailing the changes, the team stated, “We made our choices based on our experience in the miniature industry and underestimated what carrying that experience into the board gamer community would mean. We would have been a bunch of fools if we hadn’t questioned our ideas, and so we did, listening to you. We have reduced our markup for a bigger mission, which is the building of a community.”
